The Group carried out 12 poverty alleviation programs in four selected poverty-stricken counties in Yingshang and Yuexi of Anhui, Luxi and Fenghuang of Hunan, which involved 12.40 million yuan of poverty relief fund covering such projects as infrastructure construction, education support, industrial development and labor export training.

In 2008, the Group provided 18.47 million yuan of construction fund for Bange county of Tibet, and helped completion of nine aid projects, including providing supportive facilities for settlement of herdsman, hardening roads and venues for local counties, building simple bridges, drinking systems and solar lightening projects for herdsman, etc.
