The Group, China's largest oil products producer and distributor, is taking a significant responsibility in guaranteeing domestic oil products supply.

In the first three quarters of 2008, the domestic supply of oil products remained in a tight situation. In order to secure stabilized oil products supply to the market and earnestly fulfill the due responsibility as a large state-owned company. the Group adopted various measures, such as lifting refining workload, adjusting structure, increasing import, shutting export, reducing ethylene production, entrusting production to local refineries, etc, to seek more resources available to meet the market demand. And the Group did a good job in supplying oil products to meet various needs like "three summers" (summer harvesting, planting and managing), disaster relief, "three autumns" (autumn harvesting, ploughing and planting), Olympics Games, thus making positive contribution to maintaining social stability.
