After the May 12 destructive Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan Province, the Group immediately launched the first-grade emergency plan and organized an overall campaign for anti-earthquake and disaster relief work.The Group quickly allocated more shipment of resources to the earthquake-hit region, and increased oil products supply to special customers in the railway, army and civil aviation industries. The front-line oil products supply to antiearthquake and disaster relief was guaranteed under the target of "every service station should be fully supplied at any time, and supplies should be guaranteed wherever the disaster relief facilities go." The Group also made active efforts to repair and resume natural gas production and supply in the earthquake-hit regions for the local needs of production and living. In addition, the Group organized ten emergency-response teams and 23 engineering emergency treatment teams, involving more than 1,000 people participating in the disaster relief work, and actively donated and constructed makeshift houses. During the anti-earthquake and disaster relief period, the Group and employees donated an accumulated 308 million yuan equivalent of cash and objects.
